The Best Feeling Practices were hard, they pushed athletes to the limit. Cheer Central Suns was preparing for the second biggest competition in the nation. My team, youth three dazzle, was in the gym working stunts and tumbling skills everyday of the week to beat the best. The weekend came to show off our work to everyone. The team and I loaded onto the plane, excited for the adventure of a lifetime. Aboard the plane we all sat together doing homework for the two hour flight to Dallas, Texas. The small wheels of the plane touched down on an unfamiliar ground. The excitement rushed through me. The hotel was beautiful. Chandeliers on the ceiling, art work that must have taken years along the walls. I get back to the hotel and head into bed. At 9:00 I hear the horrifying sound of my alarm going off. I slowly make my way out of bed. Under the door on the floor is a note that reads, â€Å"My dazzle babies, today is the day we have been working towards. You are all capable of hitting a zero deduction routine. I will be cheering as loud as I can for each and everyone of you! -Coach Erin† A flow of exhilaration came to my body and I was ready for the day. I make my way to the bathroom and begin to put the white uniform on. I sit on the counter in front of the mirror and begin to do extensive amount of makeup for when I compete. My mother put my hair in a pony tail and I put the white and gold bow in my hair with curls. I am in the lobby by 11 with the team. Our coaches show up with excitement and give us each individual notes. Mine said, â€Å"Braelynn I will be cheering loud for you in your front tuck, roundoff back tuck!
